Hi, I’m Jazz.  
I began my career at 16 in a 5⭐ salon, earning my NVQ Level 3, and now have over 15 years’ experience in hairdressing. I created Hairnovate in 2022 to bring professional cutting and colouring services to the comfort of your own home in Banbury and the surrounding villages.  

As a mobile hairdresser in Banbury, I love the personal, relaxed feel that home appointments create. It allows clients to feel at ease, ensuring I can provide a service completely tailored to you. Whether you’d like to chat or simply unwind, my aim is always the same: to leave you confident, comfortable, and happy with your hair.

Step 1: Consultation & Patch Test
  • A consultation and patch test are required before any colour service.
  • This ensures your safety (allergy check) and lets me assess your hair in person.
  • Bring along photos/videos of the colour you’d like – or we can choose together.
During the consultation, we’ll:
  • Discuss your colour goals.
  • Assess your hair’s thickness, length, condition, and any old colour.
  • Plan the services needed and explain the process.
  • Confirm a maximum cost (you’ll also receive an estimated price list in advance).
💇 Want a cut too? No problem – we can combine your cut, consultation, and patch test in one service.

**A £10 deposit is required to book and is deducted from your final colour cost**

Step 2: Preparing for Your Appointment

Please provide:
  • A chair in good natural light with space around it.
  • Access to a plug socket and a sink (for bowls/brushes).
  • Comfortable clothing that can be unzipped/unbuttoned to avoid colour stains.
Step 3: During Your Appointment
  • Some colour services take several hours – so relax and enjoy the time!
  • I’ll apply your colour, then leave while it develops.
  • When ready, I’ll remove foils (if used), and you’ll wash your hair yourself in the shower or over the bath. Please rinse thoroughly.
Step 4: Finishing Up
  • I’ll do a quick rough dry so you can check the results, or a full blow-dry/style if you’d like.
  • We’ll finish with a before-and-after photo of your transformation!
Welcome to the Hairnovate Price List and FAQs page. As a mobile hairdresser in Banbury, I believe in keeping things simple, transparent, and stress-free. Below you’ll find details about services, pricing, and answers to common questions about my at-home hairdressing service. Every appointment is designed around your needs — professional results in the comfort of your own home.

Q: What days/hours do you work?

Mon: 10am–4pm
Tue:  10am–4pm
Thu:  11am–7pm
Fri:    10am–4pm
Sat:   10am–3pm

Q: How will I know the price?

A: Prices are shown as **estimates (min–max)**, based on hair thickness, length, and time.  Once we confirm your service, I’ll give you a maximum price upfront.  Minimum charge per visit is £20.

Q: Do I need to pay a deposit? How do I pay?


A: 50% non-refundable deposit secures your booking.  The deposit goes towards your final cost.  Payment is by bank transfer (invoice and details will be sent).

Q: What if I need to cancel?


A: Please give at least 24 hours’ notice. Less than this will mean your deposit is forfeited.

Q: What brand of colour do you use?


A: I work with L’Oréal and ASP.

Q: What if I’m unhappy with my hair?

A: We’ll have a full consultation first to set realistic goals. But if you’re unhappy afterwards, please tell me—we’ll work together to find a solution.

Q: Do I need to wash my hair before my appointment?


A: Colour: Hair should be clean, dry, and detangled.  
Blow-dry: Wash and detangle beforehand (I can re-wet if needed).
Dry cut: Wash the night before or the same day so it’s clean and fully dry.  Hair that’s very dirty, greasy, or full of product is difficult to work with. Please ensure it’s washed thoroughly at home.

Q: How long will my service take?

Durations are shown with the price estimate. Some colour services may take several hours, so allow extra time and get comfy—it’ll be worth it!

Q: Do I need to provide anything?

A: Yes, please provide:  A chair in good light, with space to work around and a plug socket.  For colour: access to a sink (to rinse bowls/brushes).

Q: I have pets—will that be a problem?

A: Not at all! I’m an animal lover and have no allergies—I’d love to meet them.
