I began my hairdressing career at the age of 16 in a 5-star salon, where I gained my NVQ Level 3 qualification. With over 15 years of experience, I launched Hairnovate in 2022 with the aim of providing professional hairdressing in a friendly, relaxed environment.
Now based in my private home salon in Shotteswell, Hairnovate offers a welcoming one-to-one experience away from the hustle and bustle of a busy salon.
I love creating a relaxed atmosphere where you can feel completely at ease. Whether you’d like to chat throughout your appointment or simply sit back and enjoy some quiet time, your appointment is yours to enjoy.
I offer professional cutting, colouring and styling services tailored to you — from regular trims and restyles to highlights, colour maintenance and complete transformations.
My aim is simple: beautiful hair, a relaxed experience, and for you to leave feeling confident and happy.

A 50% deposit is required to secure all colour appointments. This will be deducted from the total cost of your service on the day.What if I need to cancel?
I kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment. For colour appointments, less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the loss of your deposit.Do I need a patch test?
Yes. A consultation and patch test are required before your first colour appointment. This gives us the opportunity to discuss your desired result, assess your hair and plan your colour service.What colour brands do you use?
I work with L’Oréal and ASP professional colour.What if I’m unhappy with my hair?
Please let me know as soon as possible. I want you to be happy with your hair and will always do my best to find a solution.Do I need to wash my hair before my appointment?
For colour appointments, please arrive with clean, dry and detangled hair. For dry cuts, your hair should also be clean and fully dry. For cuts and blowdries, your hair will be washed professionally at the basin.Where is the salon?

Step 1: Consultation & Patch TestA consultation and patch test are required before your first colour appointment. This allows me to:• Discuss your colour goals and the look you'd like to achieve

• Recommend the most suitable services
• Explain the process and expected results
• Confirm the price before your appointmentFeel free to bring along photos or videos of colours you love — or we can choose something together.Consultations and patch tests are complimentary.Step 2: Before Your Colour AppointmentPlease arrive with your hair clean, dry and detangled unless we've discussed otherwise.Step 3: Your AppointmentSome colour services can take several hours, so make yourself comfortable and relax. We'll have already discussed your colour plan during your consultation, but we'll have another chat before we begin to make sure you're completely happy with what we're doing.Step 4: The Finished ResultYour service will be finished and styled as agreed, and we'll check the finished result together. With your permission, I may also take before-and-after photos of your hair.
